Meet Baby Maruki Mikharn {27 days} Gold Coast Newborn Photographer

I had the most gorgeous Mama book in for one of our 'Bump to Baby' sessions late last year which included her Maternity and Newborn sessions. The week of her booked maternity shoot at 35 weeks, I get a phone call saying "Haylie, I am in hospital holding my baby boy!" YES! This little man certainly had some plans to check out the world early arriving 5 weeks before his due date and weighing in at just over 4 pounds! Whenever premmies are born we always give them a few extra weeks to put on their expected birth weight and to get the all clear from their doctors that they are thriving and catching up to where they should be.

So, enter this handsome little man Maruki Mikharn at 27 days old - and still being the most tiny bubba I have ever had in the studio. And in saying that, he absolutely ROCKED his session and we didn't hear a peep out of him all morning!! Congrats on his safe, though eventful arrival Kimii! He is just perfect xx

Meet Baby Mason {15 days}

This gorgeous little man was the first newborn to be photographed in the studio for 2014, and he was just a dream to work with!!

Mason's Daddy Mick is one of the original Cast Iron Boys (a camp oven cooking show and website) so his Mumma brought in Daddy's famous cowboy hat for his session and we snapped a super cute photo of Mason with it. His Daddy contacted me to say thanks and that he was so happy with it, which made me ecstatic! I love when clients bring in something personal and dear to them to include in their session..

A huge congrats to Karen, Mick and big brothers Zachary and Logan on the arrival of baby Mason! xx

Meet Baby Carter {13 days}

When Carter and his mum Kirsty arrived for their photo shoot last week it was very surreal to think that Carter wasn't even supposed to be here for another 8 days, and this little man was 13 days old already! For being 3 weeks early he was such a content bubba..

His Mum became my assistant for the morning, joining in on the shoot and becoming my extra set of hands if I needed! We had a wonderful time chatting away, eating yummy milo balls and taking the occasional picture of course.. haha.

A huge hug of thanks to Kirsty for driving almost 2 hours for Carter's session!! I was so delighted to spend the morning with you both and be lucky enough to get all those smiles from your precious little boy xx
